The Ministry of Home Affairs has operationalized the 1930 Helpline (formerly 155260). This is linked to the Citizen Financial Cyber Fraud Reporting and Management System (CFCFRMS).
How it works:
When you call 1930, the police operator creates a “ticket” that is instantly shared with the banks. If the money is still in the banking system, it gets frozen.
Our Advice:
- Call 1930 instantly.
- Note the Acknowledgement Number.
- Visit us to follow up with a formal legal complaint if the money is not released or if the bank is negligent.
